Jillian Noel Hennessy
Jillian Noel Hennessy is a Canadian actor and singer from Canada. Her appearances on American television shows like Law & Order were three-seasons long. Crossing Jordan lasted six seasons. Jordan Cavanaugh was her leading character. She was also in films like RoboCop 3 & Most Wanted and independent films Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. The film was directed and written by her. Hennessy was a native of Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy her father was a salesman and marketing executive. He was a frequent traveler which led to many family moves. Maxine her mother, who was Maxine's died in 1982. She left her daughter in the care of Eleanor Her paternal grandmother. She has a younger brother named John Paul "J.P." Hennessy, Jr., and a identical twin sister named Jacqueline, who is an editor for magazines and a TV show host in Canada. Hennessy is of Irish, French, Swedish and Italian ancestry on her father's side, and mainly Ukrainian Roma, as well as Austrian and Austrian ancestry from her mother's side. After graduating from Grand River Collegiate Institute (both located in Kitchener) She attended Stanley Park Senior Public School. She also busked on the Toronto subway. Hennessy along with her sister and her first performance was as twin call girls in 1988's Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's sister, stated that she was shortlisted for The X-Files for Dana Scully's role. Hennessy also played the character as Dr. Marie Lazarus on RoboCop 3. In 1993, Dick Wolf signed Hennessy to the role as Claire Kincaid assistant district attorney on Law & Order. The role lasted for three seasons before ending the series as an actress in 1996.
